Sam Loman

Sam Loman ( 1983) studied Illustration at the academy of arts in Rotterdam the Netherlands and received her Bachelor of Design in January 2005. A year before her graduation she started her own design business. First as an illustrator but soon she extended her creative skills with graphic design, photography, product design and writing children and non-fiction books.

Sam has a broad experience and worked for many clients like: all kinds of magazines, book publishers (children as well as adult literature), companies who develop stationery, cards, kitchen- & tableware, clothes and baby products.

Since she has an inexhaustible interest for many subjects
she started in 2009 with new study: A Master Art & Design at the university of Hertfordshire UK. Some of her research subjects were: medical illustration, picture books and fashion illustration. Her main goal was to extend her knowledge and to bring science and arts/design together. Make the invisible, visible for a wide range of people. Sam received her Master of Arts with distinction in Aug 2011.

Another goal in life is making people happy with her illustrations and products. Put a smile on their face, give them a minute of joy, make dreams come true on paper. Receiving messages from people who like her work or bought something from 'Sam’ makes her happy and gives her lots of inspiration to make much more!
